The Story

Amish Country Organic, By Rohrer Seeds

About- Tendersweet carrots are sweet, crunchy, and full of bright, rich-orange color. Enjoy 7-10 inch long, coreless roots from your garden this summer. Perfect for cooking, baking, canning, pickling, and juicing. Plant in sun or partial shade for a deliciously sweet harvest.

When and Where to Plant- Prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade. Will grow best in deep loose, well-drained soil. Sow directly into the garden rather than starting indoors and transplanting.

Care and Harvest- When thinning, cut plants instead of pulling them out or it may damage root systems of adjacent plants. When carrots have reached maturity, gently pull them up by the tops.

Spacing Between Rows- 12-18"

Days to Germination- 14-21
