About- As a well-known slicing variety, Marketmore is a favorite of home gardeners. Resistant to most common cucumber diseases, this variety produces 8-9" fruits with uniform dark green skin. Resistant to cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew and scab. Parthenocarpic self pollinating variety.
When and Where to Plant- Direct sow 3-4 weeks after the last frost in the spring or start indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost. Plant in an area that receives full sun and soil that is drains well.
Care and Harvest- Keep well-watered and fertilized throughout the growing season. Harvest often when mature by twisting the fruit off the vine.
